I Have Chosen You To Be One Of My Children

"I chose you to be in a relationship with Me even before I laid out plans for this world.  I want you to live a holy life characterized by love.

I destined you to be adopted as My child through the covenant Christ, inaugurated in His sacrificial life.

With all wisdom and insight, I have enlightened you to the great mystery at the center of My will.

I have laid out My intentions through Jesus to ultimately create order and unity both in heaven and earth, when all things are brought together under My rule.  You are predestined to play a key role in My unfolding purpose that is energizing everything to conform to My will.

Because you have heard the word of truth, the good news of your salvation, and because you believe in Christ, the One who is truth, your life is marked with My seal.  You have received the Holy Spirit to guide and direct you, love and protect you, in everything you think, say, and do."
Ephesians 1:3-14

Lord, I live in awe and wonder of the power of Your love to create the universe, all that is in it, and bring it all together in the love of Christ.

I live in awe and wonder of You who created me and blessed me, of Jesus who loves me and redeemed me, and of the Holy Spirit who seals me, directs me and protects me.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit, how may I glorify You today?

Jesus, "Seek My presence always.  Pray without ceasing.  Call out to God to give you and all His people minds to receive wisdom and revelation so they will truly know Him.  Pray that He will open the eyes of their hearts, and let the light of His truth flood in and shine His light on the hope He is calling everyone to embrace.

Pray that He will reveal the glorious riches He is preparing for their inheritance.  Pray that He will let them see the full extent of His power that is ata work in each of you who believe, and that it may be done according to His might and power."   Ephesians 1:17-19

Jesus, let it be unto me as You say.  I live in awe and wonder of the power of Your love and I will obey.  Jesus, may all that is You flow into me so that I may accomplish everything You say.

Jesus, "It will be unto you as you pray.  I live within you and I am with you all the way!"
